Started to work on the Polar Lights 1/350 K'tinga over the past couple of weeks. I do have their lighting kit but I'm going to do my own. I've got the Arduino Code just about done, I've made Objects to control the Marker Lights and Impulse Engines and then SFX for the Photon Torpedo Firing Sequence.
In between code iterations for the Lighting Kit, I am working on the Primary Hull Lighting. By far this area has the most lighting to connect up. I'm using the PL light kit to test diffusion materials. The picture below has a piece of cut up Milk Glass(?) sat behind the clear kit part. The inside of this section will get a matte white coat and that should really make the windows pop.
